Our Story

Mission 316 Church began in 2011 when Founding Pastor Sam and Judy Brumit gathered a small group of friends to pray and dream about launching a church that truly met people where they are and helped them take their next steps toward Jesus. From the beginning, the heart of Mission 316 has been simple: love God, serve people, and create a community where every person matters.

For more than a decade, Sam and Judy faithfully led and shaped that vision. In October 2025, Mission 316 entered a new season as Allen and Miranda Rigg stepped into leadership.

Allen founded and pastored Calvary Austin for 18 years, seeing it grow from four people to more than 1,400. Miranda is a GMA Dove Award–nominated Christian recording artist who has ministered nationwide. Their journey includes seasons of deep personal pain, including very difficult and public divorces in 2010. Four years later, God opened doors to a new chapter marked by healing, restoration, and renewed calling.

Allen and Miranda’s heart for Mission 316 is to help people find belonging, hope, and a fresh start. If you’ve experienced disappointment or setback, you’re not alone. This is a church where grace leads the way and where every story can be redeemed.
