Core Values

1. Gospel-Centered Mission

We meet people where they are and invite them to follow Jesus.

Reaching people with the good news of Jesus is central to who we are. We believe lives are changed through the gospel, not perfection. Everyone is welcome, and nobody has to have it all together to belong.

2. Authentic, Spirit-Led Worship

We worship God with gratitude, joy, and expectancy.

Worship is more than music—it’s a posture of the heart. We gather to worship Jesus together with unity, passion, and openness to the work of the Holy Spirit, believing God is actively transforming us as we do.

3. Faithful, Relevant Teaching

We teach the Bible clearly, faithfully, and in ways that connect to real life.

God’s Word is the foundation of everything we do. We aim to teach Scripture in a way that forms Christlike character and speaks meaningfully to today’s world, helping people grow and mature in their faith.

4. Loving Relationships & Real Community

We love people deeply and do life together.

Love is the defining mark of a follower of Jesus. We believe faith grows best in genuine community where people are known, supported, and encouraged. No one should walk alone.

5. Every Person Has a Purpose

We help people discover and use their God-given gifts.

God has uniquely gifted every believer. We are committed to equipping and empowering people to live out their calling—serving with joy, purpose, and impact both inside and outside the church.

6. Servant Leadership & Shared Ministry

We are led by humble, called leaders and strengthened by everyone’s contribution.

Leadership at Mission 316 reflects the example of Jesus—servant-hearted, humble, and grounded in integrity. We honor and encourage men and women to lead and serve as God raises them up.

7. Active Faith That Makes a Difference

We follow Jesus into the world with compassion and generosity.

We listen for the leading of the Holy Spirit and respond with action—serving others, pursuing justice, and loving our neighbors. We believe generosity is a normal part of following Jesus, and our faith should make a tangible difference in the world.

These values shape how we follow Jesus, love people, and live out our mission together.
