The Dream Center is a resource for solutions to homelessness, hunger and the lack of education in the Los Angeles area. Founded in 1994, their services include food banks that serve over 20,000 people each month, residential transition programs for homeless families, abused women, those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, foster children, and much more.
Missionary opportunities include feeding and ministering to the homeless on Skid Row, serving meals to residents in the Dream Center cafeteria, sharing Jesus with inner-city children, delivering groceries in impoverished neighborhoods, supporting families with foster children, and praising God for the results at Angeles Temple.
The Dream Center provides dormitory-style lodging, Monday through Thursday nights; meals are provided. The Dream Center/LA campus is a very safe and uplifting environment for males and females of all ages.
The cost is $240/person. Significant (partial or full) scholarships are available for anyone who wants to participate in the trip but needs financial assistance.
